You need to come to Burlington, Vermont! I currently attend the University of Vermont, located on top of a mountain overlooking Lake Champlain and the town of Burlington. Vermont is known as the “Green Mountain State” because of its numerous mountains and beauty. Vermont is a state known for its hiking, bike paths, Mom and Pop stores, and Skiing/Snowboarding. We also make all the nation’s Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream here (Its original shop is in downtown Burlington). For the outdoorsmen Vermont is definatly a great place to visit to just get away. The best times to come: Summer- The average temperature is about 80 degrees,Fall- You’ve never seen scenery so beautiful! Every mountain is a cluster of warm autumn colors and the Maple Syrup and Apple Cider is in its prime! Winter- The skiing and snowboarding is unparalleled; you can find yourself in a nice wood cabin nestled in between two mountains with a wood burning fire place and a great view of the sunset over Lake Champlain. I love Vermont, and trust me you will too!

Oh and a little known fact: There are no Billboards in Vermont, State law prohibits this because Billboards will distract from the state’s beauty

Have you ever done a hiking or backpacking adventure? Some people at work were talking about it the other day and it sounds interesting. However, I’m not really into camping outdoors. They did mention that there are some trails in the area that offer cabins or upscale tents for you to stay in during your trip. Just wanted to know if this was something you’ve tried or would be interested in.
