Winter is usually a time that I try and stay in the house, eat a lot, and hibernate. There is usually not much to do and I just long for the end of the cold season and the beginning of spring.

This year, however, I wanted to break out of my normal routine and try something that would normally never cross my mind, and I wanted to bring friends along who would have this experience with me.

I have to tell you – Railey Mountain Lake Vacations made all of my concerns go away – they took care of everything. I told them the size of my group of friends and they helped me to choose a home that best fit our needs. What’s more, they helped us get our “play in the snow” packages from WISP – the local adventure park… Where we took skiing lessons, and went tubing, snowmobiling and more. They knew what we needed and took care of the all the details.

Now, winter isn’t such an afterthought. And I’m looking forward to the next one.
